| Summary | 0000232: BMS 4.36 U2: HCMS feature is missing in the F-16 during the TE GroundOps #1 tutorial mission, cold start | ||||
| Description | Step 17 in the Training PDF, pp. 24-27, asks the user to align the HCMS, which is a new feature of BMS v4.36. Expected: I can follow the instructions to align the HCMS in the tutorial mission, as per instructions. > "Since 4.36 you have to align the HMCS to use it properly and get accurate HUD information. If able, a 15-minute warm-up is required for optimal alignment. [...] After the recommended warm-up time open your HMCS Align page on the DED (LIST->MISC(0)->HMCS->SEQ). There are three alignment modes available. We start with the COARSE mode. When mode select (M-SEL) is depressed [...]" Actual: There is no such HCMS entry in the UFC/DED, neither under LIST->MISC(0) nor elsewhere that I could find. It seems as if the HCMS feature in the F-16 you operate in this training lacks this feature altogether? | ||||
