| Summary | 0000157: VIRPIL MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle Axis Recognised but reversed | ||||
| Description | I took delivery of a new Virpil Throttle yesterday. I was trying to set up control and axis mappings for BMS 4.35.1 and for the most part was successful, aside from the throttle axis. When I try to map it, the game is interpreting it backwards. Expected: Push throttles forward, engine power increases Pull throttles backwards, engine power decreases Actual: Inversed. Push throttles forward, engine power decreases. Pull throttles back, engine power increases. I've checked these throttles in the Virpil software and their mapping is correct. I've also tested in Arma 3 and MSFS, they are reading the control axis the correct way. Only BMS appears to be doing its own inversion, and the throttle axis is the only one that cannot be set to inverted. Can the input detection for this throttle be fixed and/or an option be added to invert throttle axes? | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Assuming use of MongoosT50CM3 throttle from VIRPIL: 1. Verify both throttle axis go from 0-100 in Virpil configuration software (not 100-0) 2. Open Falcon BMS 4.35.1 (in my case, Alternative Launcher) 3. Map either Throttle or Throttle Right Axis 4. Move throttle through its full movement range for the game to detect the axis as its input 5. Observe that pushing the throttles forward causes the axis to move to the left (Idle) and pulling them backwards causes the axis to move to the right (Power) | ||||
