| Summary | 0000180: Incorrect CoG velocity transfer between ship and harrier reference frames |
|---|
| Description | When taking-off (or landing) a Harrier from a ship, the ship velocity is abruptly subtracted (or added) from the aircraft velocity once off the deck. This is also confirmed by Tacview showing the ground speed drop to zero once the Harrier is airborne. |
|---|
| Steps To Reproduce | Launch the Harrier training mission from stock KTO, set the nozzles to 90 deg and apply full power. Once you take-off you will see the ship moving away from you while the aircraft remains stationary with respect to the sea. The opposite is true while landing. Once on the deck, the jet will be abruptly catapulted forward. |
