This is more like an MLU behavior. "IFF Control Panel. The IFF Control Panel provides primary and back-up AIFF control functions. The IFF master knob controls the AIFF power functions. The OFF position removes power from the AIFF system. The STBY position provides power to the system but inhibits transponder but not interrogator functions. The LOW, NORM, and EMER positions apply power to the system and allow normal transponder replies and IFF interrogations. The IFF master knob must be simultaneously lifted and rotated to select or deselect either the OFF or EMER switch positions. " |
