That's a physically different altimeter. There are at least 3 altimeters used in F-16s. The one you've screenshotted has a kollsman window in millibars, while the one in the video has a kollsman window in inches of mercury. There is a newer altimeter which allows the units to be changed in the cockpit. I don't know if they all turn the same direction, or if some of them turn different directions to the others. Can you find a video showing the European (millibars) altimeter, or screenshot the American (inches mercury) altimeter in BMS, to compare? |

I just did a test with a block 30 as in the video. The altimeter in BMS is the same as in the previous example. I changed the altimetric value to Hpa. I think there is no difference for the altimeter depending on the versions of F16. Hopefully this will be of use to you. https://youtu.be/VOeXKWRxaMc?t=116 |

Well, Im convinced. Id imagine changing it shouldnt be too complicated... What a spot, though. |

This have nothing to do with correct and right. The same aircraft type can have different brand of altimeter with slight differences. This is totally normal. On the real f16 aircraft manuals you can see the actual equipment installed and the brand of each unit. altimeters examples https://youtu.be/HnibH9xCxmg?t=351 https://youtu.be/g-bEYEikjW8?t=4 90% of the time acording to my experience its exactly like BMS |
