| Summary | 0000061: Dash-34 "Sighting Option" - STPT elevation AGL or MSL |
|---|
| Description | When creating/modifying a STP, selecting 0 ft elevation does not place the STP on the ground level but 0 ft MSL. This is logical of course but contradictory to the BMS manual. in Dash-34 "Sighting Option"chapter it is explicitly written that selecting 0 ft elevation places the STP on the ground level regardless of the MSL elevation and is recommended to always select 0 ft elevation. This places the STP below ground level for most locations in BMS. |
|---|
| Steps To Reproduce | Go to KOTAR and create OA or modify elevation of a markpoint on the range. See how the STP diamond sinks underground. The solution would be to correct the manual and not the Viper avionics :-). |
