I have now been able to reproduce this. I've tried at Smart Scaling minimum distance 0.2 and 0.5, has made no difference. Next to try without SS at all. |

With Smart Scaling off, the tanker suddenly jumps close, once. And then holds that viewpoint/position. |

Can this be reproduced with realistic refueling difficulty? If easy difficulty is not supported, and broken, it might be worth removing. In that case, this could be closed as wontfix, I guess. That is assuming this issue does not exist with realistic refuelling mode instead of easy. |

Thanks, both. I hadn’t considered that it might be related to the difficulty settings rather than some of the graphical settings. It was set to easy because I suck at BMS in general, AAR in particular. I’ll change the difficulty to realistic and see what happens tonight, report back. Hopefully it’s a won’t fix as it’s a non-issue, though I guess one easy way of “fixing it”, if it is the difficulty setting, would be to remove the refuelling difficulty option? |

Can confirm that I can NOT reproduce this on realistic settings. Also, can't manage the refuelling, but that's a bug with me not with BMS ;-) |

Closing as WONTFIX as bug only affects unsupported difficulty modes. Thanks for reporting, and good luck with the refueling practice. If you get frustrated, I suggest doing some formation practice first to shake things up a bit. Check out the Fast FKG: http://flyfast.org/sites/all/docs/FAST_FKG_2.0.pdf Formation Knowledge Guide. This more than anything else solidified my formation skills. Thing is refuelling is just dissimilar formation flying. |
